Design And Connectivity
The look of the iPhone 14 maintains the same essential characteristics as its three predecessors, making it very difficult to find relevant differences between them – especially in comparison to the iPhone 13. In other words, the device has sides made of metal with rounded edges. Its screen uses the display well, with few edges and a small horizontal area at the top. Its back is made of glass, with the Apple logo centered, and two (or three, depending on the version) large camera sensors in the top left corner. Performance is another aspect that has maintained good quality but without significant structural changes. The A15 Bionic chipset, the same one present in the iPhone 13, together with 6GB of RAM, provides excellent performance and is fluid and highly competent for use, whether with common multitasking apps or games. The slight difference is that the version of the chip used in the iPhone 14 has an extra GPU core, providing slightly higher performance than the 13.
Regardless of the details, performance is one of the device’s primary virtues, according to the brand’s standard. The iPhone 14 has 128, 256, and 512 GB of internal storage.
Battery
At its launch, the evolution of the battery in the iPhone 14 was constantly highlighted. And despite having a greater capacity than its predecessor, it is not such a relevant evolution. The iPhone 13 has a 3,240 mAh battery with 20W charging support, while the 14 has 3,279 mAh with 18W charging.
